Camille Loonam, BS (she/her)

Social Work Intern (MSW)

Camille was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Although she takes great pride in the 505, she moved to Flagstaff in 2019 to pursue a B.S. in Psychological Sciences at Northern Arizona University. After completing her degree, Camille enjoyed Flagstaff so much that she decided to stay and is now working towards her Master of Social Work degree at Northern Arizona University as well.

Camille has gained valuable experience working within the Flagstaff community. She has worked with Flagstaff Shelter Services and Community Assistance Teams with the aim of providing care and support to individuals experiencing homelessness. Additionally, she interned with Victim Witness Services, in which she provided support to victims of domestic violence and assault. Camille is eager to join Beyond the Pines and begin her counseling journey.

As a second-year MSW student, her professional goals are centered around deepening her clinical skills and expanding her understanding of systemic approaches to Social Work. Camille feels passionate about advocating for policies that produce equity and equality. Following graduation, she hopes to obtain her license as an LMSW and begin working toward independent licensure as she provides support and services to people from many different populations.

Outside of school and work, Camille is an avid reader. In her free time, you can find her taking a deep dive into a delightful book or spending time with her cat.
